Acne is a frequent thing that most teenagers, and some adults, have to deal with. It’s not nice to look at, makes you feel self conscious all the time, it’s really hard sometimes. I know, I’ve been there myself. The good news is that there are things you can do to help get through it faster.
Acne is caused by the buildup of toxins in the skin, as well as the hormonal imbalance caused by puberty. • Add as much fresh fruit and salads to your diet as possible. The most dark leafy greens the better.
• Don’t touch your face. Your hands are covered in bacteria and dirt. Spreading them to your face is going to make your acne worse.
• Wash your face regularly with cool water. Morning and night, as well as anytime you sweat. Avoid strong soaps which will add harmful stuff to your skin.
• Try applying fresh lemon juice to your face nightly. Wait a few minutes and rinse off with cool water.
• Or try an avocado paste by making avocado with just enough water to make a paste. Apply, wait 5-10 minutes, and rinse off with cool water.
